Way Too Long
So, I didn't actually keep this up the way I had hoped. Possibly because I use Hobos & Little Birds so often it has become the got to place for Hazel updates.

3 Months and Then Some!
Hazel is 3 months now. Here are a few recent photos of her.
She is quite the character and is constantly making us laugh.
She has rolled over 2 times (that we know of)and has begun hold her binkie and is able to pull it out when she doesn't want it. She does a lot of finger & hand sucking as well as drooling. Teeth are on the horizon! Hazel does a lot of cooing and chatting. The toys she plays with lately are her gym- where she bats & kicks at hanging toys, she is also learning to play a little piano.
We need to get a camcorder and will hopefully go this weekend or during the week. Last night Hazel spent the night in her crib. Of course she is sharing our bedroom and is a mere 4 feet away- but I still had trouble sleeping and kept looking over at her. She slept great!
Tonight we are taking her to her first non-family event- at my friend's house.

Summer is Almost Here!
So today I got Hazel her first bathing suit and sunglasses. I'm so looking forward to having a kiddie pool in the back yard and taking her to the beach with Grandma Judy & PopPop Lou. What fun!

2 Months!
Hazel is now the big 2 months! She can recognizes us and smiles all the time. She is weighing in at 10lbs 4oz- We go for her first official wellness exam on Monday.
She loves kicking- look at that foot action!
Taking a nap after all that kicking! We've started putting her in the big girl crib for naps, but she looks so tiny in there- however she almost looks too big for her bassinet! xo Be Well !

Her Cheeks Grow in Rockland
Hello and welcome to the Oat Family blog! Although Zach and I each write our own blogs his is more work-tv-related and mine is more crafty- work related. With family and friends all over I wanted to create a spot just for family updates on how our littlest Oat is doing.
As of now, Hazel fell asleep nursing and is asleep on the Boppy in front of me. I've learned how to type pretty well with one hand-two fingers.
We haven't weighed her recently- but she is growing like a weed! Her cheeks keep getting bigger (which I love) and she's wearing size 3 months already! I have a bag of clothes to put into storage for our next baby? whenever/if ever they may come. She's growing more each day and usually sleeps through the night. This kid is very easy to handle
(at the moment)!

Can you believe she's coming up on her 2 month point? She is laughing at us (mama's dancing mostly) and loves watching the new bird mobile we got her. She loves birds.
